On Wednesday, I experienced my first blackout at Khaodee. The high schoolers were studying for their exams for the next day so it was especially difficult for them to focus so we gave the high schoolers our head flashlights to help them study.
The kids got together in their multi-purpose room and started to pray, Suthep (age 16), one of the high school boys led the group in prayer and after 10 minutes of continual prayer, when Suthep said Amen, the lights went back on. Praise the Lord! After the lights went on, Porntip, Pattarawadee and Saruda performed a hula dance that they learned from a Hawaii team that visits them every October.
